Cypress is the US-290 northwest belt: Bridgeland, Fairfield, and older Cypress-area streets in unincorporated Harris County more often than in a small historic city core. The primary service is storm damage. Secondary is shingle repair.
Harris County thunderstorms are the ordinary weather. Wind at ridges, rain under tabs, and the occasional hail — less frequent as a large-hail pattern than North or West Texas — are what we inspect for. We do not use contractor hail-day slogans. Bridgeland’s lakes and trail corridors add trees in some sections and open fetch in others. Fairfield’s older MPC streets are a different asphalt age than a house that closed last year. The Cypress-Fairbanks area west of SH-249 and north of US-290 has still another mix of 1980s–2000s stock. None of those names get their own URL. They get a line on the quote form so we know which storm field we are walking.
Unincorporated Harris County means we are not at the City of Houston roof counter. That matters when a storm-opened plane becomes a replacement. It does not matter when we are deciding whether three tabs or a whole ridge failed. We photograph creased tabs versus ordinary wear. We do not write hail copy because a cell was loud on US-290.
